Jessica Altagracia Woolford

Jessica Altagracia Woolford is a media trainer, speaker coach, and communications strategist with KNP Communications, bringing nearly 15 years of experience across federal, state, and city government — and a track record of guiding leaders through their highest-pressure communications moments. Born and raised in the Bronx, she brings a grounded, purpose-driven approach to every client engagement, and is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Jessica has served in senior communications roles at the highest levels of New York politics and policy. She was NYC Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Communications Director at the NYC Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs, and head of public affairs for New York State's multi-billion-dollar cannabis market. She has also served as press secretary and speechwriter for UFCW International and the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, and cut her teeth in progressive politics as a researcher at Media Matters for America. She currently serves as Director of External Affairs at the NYC Mayor's Office of Climate and Environmental Justice. In 2022, she ran to represent New York's 81st Assembly District — bringing firsthand experience as a candidate to her work coaching others.
