Matt White

Matt White is a Partner and co-owner of KNP Communications, specializing in media coaching, public speaking training, and digital communications strategy. Over more than 15 years, he has helped executives, policy leaders, advocates, and on-air contributors sharpen their message, strengthen their on-camera presence, and communicate with confidence across traditional and digital platforms.

Matt co-founded Upswing Strategies before merging with KNP in January 2023. He served as Speaker Prep Director for the 2016 Democratic National Convention, and as Program Director of the Progressive Talent Initiative at Media Matters for America — a first-of-its-kind media training and booking operation serving as a trusted resource for pundits and producers at CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News. His background as a TV and radio booking producer gives clients an insider's perspective on what journalists and editors are actually looking for.
