Emma Sprague
Emma Sprague is Managing Partner of KNP Communications, specializing in group communications training, executive coaching, and leadership presence. Over 15+ years, she has designed and led high-impact group training programs for national foundations, nonprofit organizations, policy and advocacy groups. Through her individual coaching practice, Emma has a particular strength in amplifying the voices of women and emerging leaders across sectors. Through her work with Harvard Innovation Lab, Bobcat Ventures, and other start up groups – Emma works directly with founders on pitch, presence, and storytelling.
Emma has a wealth of experience in high-visibility event execution – producing and facilitating large virtual and in-person convenings and managing the team that trained all 200+ speakers at the 2016 Democratic National Convention. As Managing Partner, Emma shepherds the firm's internal processes, supports a wide-spread team, and – along with the firm's three other partners – is charting KNP's strategic path forward.
Emma co-founded Upswing Strategies, a communications and media training firm, before merging with KNP in January 2023, where she joined as a full partner and co-owner.
