Christian Dorsey

Christian Dorsey is a senior trainer and policy and communications expert with KNP Communications, specializing in helping leaders communicate complex ideas with authority, clarity, and credibility. He brings to his coaching practice a rare combination of frontline political experience, macroeconomic expertise, and a track record of performing under the bright lights of live television.

Christian served as an elected member of the Arlington County Board from 2016 to 2023, including two terms as Chair — during which he guided landmark decisions on economic development, transportation, housing, and equity policy. He has served as a senior leader at the Economic Policy Institute, a leading think tank promoting broadly shared economic prosperity, and as a principal member on the board of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). Earlier in his career, he led organizations focused on community development, affordable housing, and literacy — including as Executive Director of the Reading Connection. A frequent commentator on economic policy, Christian has appeared regularly on CNBC and Fox Business.
